You can now take an exciting audio tour on a regular basis through the 'Golden Square' of the southern capital. This free audio promenade is a gift to the city from philanthropist Zhanna Kan and the DAMIANI jewelry house, inspiring residents and guests of Almaty to discover new facets of the history and culture of their beloved city.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The creative realization of the project belongs to Alikhan Musatayev (Art of Her portal) and Anna Shelepova (Immersive Events production center). The promenade is based on the stories and memories of long-time residents and natives of Almaty:

• Director Rashid Nugmanov shares unique stories from the cultural life of the city.
• Public figure Saida Taukeleva talks about the transformations of Almaty and its historical heritage.
• Eco-activist Svetlana Spatar reveals the ecological aspects of the urban environment. These are just a small part of the voices that make the tour lively and authentic.

WHAT GUESTS WILL LEARN:

• How the theater changed the appearance of an entire district and became a cultural symbol of Almaty.
• Why the most original artist of Almaty could easily become an international brand of the city.
